If your hair has a darker shade, but you want a lighter one, you don’t need to use cosmetics that can destroy the hair, such as caustics of hair dye, or hydrogen peroxide. Nature offers you several alternatives that can help getting the hair colour you want, and most of all, that can be prepared by yourself, at home.   1. Honey and cinnamon mask

You need  1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 6 tablespoons of water (distilled water if  it’s possible). Dissolve the honey in the  water, then add the olive oil. Now, you will have a consistency of a pasta, which you will apply on wet hair, to facilitate the product distribution all over the hair and roots. Cover your head with a shower cap and stay as long as possible, preferably 4-6 hours. Use this mask weekly, until you rich your favourite hair shade.

  1. Lemon Juice

Use  1 cup of lemon juice, 1 cup of orange juice, ¼ cup of warm water and ¼ cup of hair conditioner. Mix all the ingredients and put them in a bottle with atomizer. Spray the mixture all over the hair and stay (preferably in the sunlight) for 30-40 minutes. The sun makes that the citric acid from lemon juice to open cuticles of the hair and the lighten process will be stimulated in the presence of oxygen and UV rays.

  1. Chamomile tea

Put 6 chamomile tea bags in 500 millilitres of hot water. Cover the bowl  for 10 minutes and let the tea cool. Use it to wash your hair after shampooing. Do this process twice a week for 2 months. Avoid using it more often, because the amount of peroxide of chamomile can be harmful for the health of the hair.
